Manoj Tandon
Founder, CIO, Managing Partner, Portfolio Manager
For roughly two decades, Manoj Tandon was a Partner at Pzena Investment Management. Most recently, he served as Director of Research and Portfolio Manager for the firm’s Focused Value, Long/Short Value and U.S. Best Ideas Strategies. Prior to joining Pzena Investment Management, Manoj was the Global Software and IT Services Analyst at Deutsche Bank. Beyond the financial industry, Manoj worked as a Senior Research Engineer at Exxon Chemical Company.
Manoj earned a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi, an M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia, and an M.B.A. from New York University. He also served as Adjunct Professor of Finance at Columbia Business School where he taught the securities valuation course.
John Krystofik
Partner, Head of Corporate Strategy & Business Development
John Krystofik spent nearly two decades in equity research and sales for institutional asset managers at Deutsche Securities, Morgan Stanley, Mizuho Securities and Liquidnet. Prior to joining PVP, John was the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Investor Relations at Precision Global Capital Management, a boutique hedge fund focusing on special situations across broader Asia. Beyond his experience in the financial industry, John served as a trade liaison for the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry based in New York, spearheading an effort to increase foreign direct investment into Japan.
John earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government & Law and Japanese Studies from Lafayette College in 2001. He maintains advanced proficiency in Japanese and earned FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses.
